With the advent of the Internet and web enabled technology, the travel industry, more than any other has evolved in how information is exchanged between the traveler, the travel agent and the hundreds of different types of suppliers such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, holidays, tour operators, and the like
Realizing that just as a few years ago, travellers had to depend solely on their local travel agency for their trip planning. Therefore 2 domains and were developed in late 2004 by a team of experienced tour guides and computer specialists, with the belief that their local travel agency could be replaced by an online travel booking service.
Luu Hoang Anh had a vision to optimise travel services, Pham Van Ngoc had a passion for international relations, and Tran Trung decided to tap into the tech realm to advance this dream. The three colleagues have jointly seen Viet Holiday Travel JSC to where it is today. Their indepth knowledge of the travel scene is not unfounded. Mr Luu Hoang Anh The founder of Viet Holiday Travel JSC and and Luu Hoang Anh has an enterprising spirit, and an energetic personality. He had worked in hotel industry for 3 years, when he realised that the conditions there were stifling. He tried, over some time, to change careers and jobs, but none helped satisfy the growing urge to be part of a bigger picture. He finally decided to become an English speaking tour guide in 1997. After working as a tour guide for nearly 10 years, Luu Hoang Anh realised that Viet Nam was a very potent travel market for the outside world. He, therefore, decided to set up his own company specialising in online travel services in the hope that his company would help travellers choose their right travel options and realise their holiday dreams without having to rely on an agency or operator..
Mr Pham Van Ngoc, Co-founder. He always wanted to interact with foreign tourists, and finally, in 1994 passed an exam to enter the Ha Noi open tourism university. Soon after graduation, he realised his dream, and became an English speaking tour guide at a local travel company. Being an experienced tour guide for nearly 8 years, he wanted to own a company that would provide larger travel services, and hence, in 2004, Pham Van Ngoc became an official member of Viet Holiday Travel JSC.
Mr Tran Trung, Co-founder. Tran Trung worked as a computer programmer and internet solution manager in a non-government organisation. His passion has always been to travel all over Viet Nam and explore the world at large. In 2004, he applied for a job at Viet Holiday Travel JSC, with the intention of finally making his passion become a reality! He has helped tremendously in making the website more effective for travellers. Ever since, he has become an indispensable web administrator and technical support specialist.
